Glenn Land Farm Sales List

The 2009 Calf Crop will be weaned in early October and we will be offering bull, steer and heifer calves for sale at that time. At weaning, the calves are halter trained, temperament scored, taught to eat hay and grain and put on a sales or replacement list.

2009 Bull and Heifer Calves will be available in October

White Dorper Sheep: We will be fall lambing in late September through November. Watch for purebred sale ram and ewe lambs early in the spring. Also, mark your calendars for July 2010 for our 3rd Annual West Coast Production Sale.

We still have unregistered commercial ewe lambs for sale here at the farm.

Boer Goats: The does will start kidding in late September through November, so contact us for your spring and early summer fair project kid needs. We will start selling project kids in late December for spring fairs.

Semen

We have semen available from Polgaron and if you liked our cattle that won the 2000 ADCA show, he sired them all. He is heterozygous for the polled trait, so we are getting about 50% polled calves when bred to horned cows. He also sires red calves. $30 per straw, plus S/H.

Glenn Land Mr. Redfire, true red and polled

Champion Bull at the 2002 ADCA Open Show.

Glenn Land Mr. Redfire: We have semen available from this true red, DNA tested (E/e), polled bull who has excellent conformation and temperament. Champion Bull at the 2002 ADCA Open Show. He is sired by Saltaire Platinum and is out of Glenn Land Cricket. Mr. Redfire sired the Reserve National Champion Bull at the Pennsylvania show, a yearling bull, owned by Charles Barnes, Virginia. The dam of this bull was a cow they had purchased from us at the sale in Missouri in 2001. He is 42" at the shoulders at 15 months of age. Redfire is DNA tested bulldog free. Price is $30 per straw.

Mr. McRed is polled, red and a small long legged bull. His calves out of our yearling heifers and the heifers we sold at Oklahoma last year are exceptional. His dam, Maple, and sire, Polgaron, have produced some outstanding calves and we believe that he will even do better. Mr. McRed was the high selling bull at the National Sale in Oklahoma in 2003 and is DNA tested bulldog free. Price is $30 per straw.
